Therapeutic and treatment approach:
My therapeutic style is relaxed, easy‑going, and infused with kindness and humor, making our sessions feel like a comfortable conversation with a trusted ally. I work collaboratively, meeting you exactly where you are and honoring your unique pace of growth, while creating a safe, judgment‑free space grounded in acceptance.
I practice cultural humility, actively acknowledging, respecting, and exploring each person’s intersecting identities and how those dimensions shape their mental‑health experience.
I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a science‑backed approach that helps you notice thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them, clarify what truly matters to you, and take concrete steps that bring you closer to those values. Together, we’ll identify your core values, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that empower you to take meaningful steps toward a richer, more purposeful life- even when mental‑health challenges are still present.

No Surprises Act:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the 2021 No Surprises Act (effective 1/1/2022), health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or send a text message to (415) 439-0518.
About:
I was born in the beautiful islands of the Philippines but raised in San Francisco, California, and I lowercase my name for humility. I feel fortunate to live and work in the City. My interests include alternative lifestyles such as veganism, minimalism, and being child‑free, as well as the F.I.R.E. movement. I enjoy fostering bunnies, reading personal finance, Giants baseball, and snacking on chips (shhh!). In the future, I hope to be a part‑time digital nomad to travel the world and eventually live and settle down with my wife in a charming colonial town in South America and in Asia. I earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Wright Institute, and I’m a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
